Job Title:
Interior Designer

Location : Houston Tx, (In-Office)

Position Summary:
Marie Flanigan Interiors is seeking a talented and dedicated Interior Designer to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in the project lifecycle, contributing to all aspects of the design process, including client consultations, creating custom design boards, sourcing materials and products, and overseeing project installations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and project goals.
• Develop and present custom design boards that reflect the MFI aesthetic and client expectations.
• Source high-quality products, materials, and finishes to bring designs to life.
• Manage project timelines and budgets while coordinating with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee installations to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
• Maintain organized project documentation and communicate updates to the team and clients.
• Foster a positive and professional relationship with clients and team members.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software, including Photoshop and AutoCAD.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Excel.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• A positive attitude and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.

Time Commitment:
• Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Video Specialist and Producer

Position Summary:
As the Video Content Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting compelling video content that highlights our design projects, brand story, promotional events, and life at MFI. This role involves collaborating closely with our Content Creator, Marketing Director, Designers, and Principal to create video content that embodies the elegance and quality of our work.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Video Editing & Storytelling: Capture the essence of our projects through creative storytelling and skilled video editing.
  • Pre-Production Assistance: Support project planning and scheduling for shoots, including site preparation and shot planning.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the Content Creator, Marketing Director, Designers, and Principal to align video content with our brand vision and campaign goals.
  • Multi-Platform Content Formatting: Format video content for various platforms, ensuring optimized viewing experiences across social media, websites, and email marketing.
  • Event and Promotional Videography: Capture and produce video content for events, product launches, and other promotional opportunities.
  • Content Repurposing for Social Media: Adapt and optimize long-form content into engaging social media clips and reels.
  • Trend Awareness & Innovation: Stay current with video editing trends, software updates, and industry best practices to keep our content fresh and engaging.
  • Digital Asset Management: Organize and manage digital assets, maintaining a library of footage and project files.
  • Styling & Composition Understanding: Apply basic principles of styling and composition to enhance visual storytelling.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of video production and editing experience, preferably within the luxury or design industry
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or other)
  • Experience in social media content creation and optimization
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and storytelling capabilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:


  • Produce photorealistic 3D renderings of luxury interior spaces, accurately capturing materials, furnishings, textures, and lighting for residential and boutique commercial projects.
  • Work closely with the design team to translate creative concepts into high-quality 3D visualizations.
  • Interpret CAD drawings, design boards, and material samples to create renderings that align with the firm's aesthetic and vision.
