When repeat clients asked us to build them their forever home, we jumped at the chance! The Patti Lynn Lane family of 6 envisioned a cozy home with no square footage gone to waste. We assembled our dream team, with Cusimano Architects and Stetzer Builders and the result was the perfect combination of style and livability.
To begin with, we were thrilled when The Houston Chronicle asked to feature the Patti Lynn Lane home in The Page! At this point, see a full tour of this gorgeous and luxurious home by following the link here.
One of our favorite spaces in the home is the primary bedroom and bath, however. Floor-to-ceiling drapery in Donghia’s sumptuous Edith fabric adds warm and depth to the bedroom. Also, an custom accent sofa offers a soft place to land at the end of they day. The primary bathroom is an ode to luxurious marble due to elongated hexagonal tile and honed countertops. Brought all the way from London, the Catchpole & Rye free-standing, cast iron bathtub is surrounded by cathedral-like leaded glass windows and sweeping drapery.
Floor to ceiling windows on both sides of the home allow for natural light to stream through the spaces. Concurrently, a soft color palette of blues and creamy whites creates a soothing atmosphere.
A quote from The Houston Chronicle:
“The formal living room is a serene space, with a white linen sofa, blue velvet armchairs, a pair of stools and a French Bergeres-style chair covered in sateen fabric. For Flanigan and her senior designer Ashlee Garner, the room was about natural materials and a mix of textures.”
